Steve

Terms of use

Updated 30 October 2026

These terms apply to the Steve app and this website, published by LSTG Move Ltee (Company Registration No. C24209627, Moka, Mauritius; "we"). Your use of the app is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

1. What Steve does

Steve listens to your band through your iPhone and plays the part of one missing musician from the audio tracks you import. How well he follows depends on your tracks, your room and your equipment: try him at a rehearsal before relying on him at a gig.

2. Your account

You need an account (your email address) to use Steve. Keep access to your email private, as the sign-in codes are sent there. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings › Delete my account).

3. Subscription

Importing songs and building setlists is free. Playing with Steve needs the "Steve monthly" subscription (€4.99 per month, or the price shown in the app for your country), with the first week free for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or at the end of the free week. The subscription renews automatically each month unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple.

4. Your music

Only import music you have the right to use. Your songs stay on your phone; we never receive or share them.

5. Fair use

Do not misuse the app or our server, or try to break, copy or resell them.

6. Liability

We work to keep Steve accurate and available, but we cannot promise he will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last twelve months. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.

7. Changes and law

We may update these terms; we will say so in the app before important changes apply. These terms are governed by the laws of Mauritius, and disputes are for the courts of Mauritius, without taking away the protection of the consumer laws of the country where you live.
